Photo Analysis #20 I am not sure what this building going to be used for - but I get the impression for some reason that it is going to be used for some kind of housing. Architecture has always been interesting to me because my dad is an architect. I have watched him work on designing buildings and it has always seemed weird to me that so much math and detail can end up making something really unique and beautiful. I really like this particular building because it is so different. I read a description of it and the architect said that his inspiration for this building was “chunky chips stacked on top of each other.” I can see what he means by that based on the color of the buildings, they could be the colors of different kinds of corn chips. And, although I am sure they are not, they do look very loosly stacked one on top of the other. I also think it is really interesting that he made the windows with balconies different, brighter colors. It keeps my attention and my interest. I would want to walk into that building to see if it is as interesting inside as it is outside. I think it is a little strange that there are two giant “N” symbols on each side of the building, I wonder what they represent.
